Energy Psychology Certification Curriculum
Join thousands of dedicated professionals for a state-of-the-art training in Energy Psychology. This evidence-based program draws from the latest discoveries in neuroscience showing how even long-held patterns can be changed using these advanced methods. There are 6 modules that build your knowledge step by step. The first 4 modules are home study courses which you'll complete at your own pace. The last two involve classroom instruction, and becoming proficient at offering Energy Psychology sessions to clients.
The certification program takes between 6 months and one year to complete. You can take the live training required for Module 5 at any time. You’ll work through Modules 1 through 4 in order. You’ll send in your case histories (Module 6) any time after completing the live training.
Home Study
Module 1: The Genetics of Personal Transformation
You'll watch a 12 week online video course that will introduce you to the basic methods used in Energy Psychology. The 30 minute videos are supplemented by downloadable audios and PDFs. Methods reviewed include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), neurofeedback, HeartMath, and mindfulness. Module 1 is based on the book The Genie in Your Genes. After you complete the home study class you'll take an online quiz to demonstrate your knowledge of the key concepts of Energy Psychology.
Module 2: The Practice of Energy Psychology and EFT
The most widely-used method in Energy Psychology is EFT, with some 20 million people worldwide practicing the method. In Module 3 you’ll read the book The EFT Manual (3rd Edition), which covers not just EFT, but the psychological and physiological principles common to all Energy Psychology techniques. You'll learn many specialized methods. These include techniques such as working with groups, techniques for helping traumatized clients, and how to work with specialized populations such as athletes, children, businesspeople, and people with serious illnesses. After reading the book, you'll complete an online knowledge quiz to demonstrate your grasp of the material.
Module 3: The Psychology of Coaching
What makes a truly excellent coach? In Module 2, based on the definitive textbook entitled The Coaching Psychology Manual, you'll learn the many skills used by effective coaches, and the psychological principles behind each one. You'll see how these are used in health coaching, and how they ensure that Energy Psychology practitioners engage effectively with their clients. Once you’re done, you’ll complete an online quiz on the book's content.
Module 4: Professional Ethics
How do you create clear and ethical relationships with your clients, understand the legal boundaries of your profession, practice self-care, and interact with other healing professionals such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, and hospital administrators? In this module, you'll read two ethics books that show you how to navigate the professional and ethical issues you will face in practice. You'll complete an online quiz when you’re done.
Classroom Instruction and Practical Demonstration
Module 5: Practicing Your Craft
The first 4 modules give you an excellent theoretical grasp of Energy Psychology. Now it's time to practice what you've learned! In Module 5, you’ll take two weekend classes in which you'll begin applying your knowledge with the help of an expert instructor. You'll witness actual Energy Psychology sessions, and discuss your observations with other members of your class. You'll practice the skills that you learn with other class members, with you instructor providing feedback and support. After the second class, you'll complete an online quiz on the class material.
Module 6: Demonstrating Your Skill
You’ll write up three case histories of clients you’ve worked with using a structured report. This report will guide you in identifying the key steps of an effective session, such as establishing trust and rapport with the client, setting professional boundaries, identifying the client's needs, noticing patterns that obstruct the client's success, making effective use of Energy Psychology techniques, testing your results, and assessing your own performance. Your sessions will be reviewed by an expert and you will receive feedback on your progress.
Module 7: How To Successfully Launch Your Career And 10X Your Impact
